01. Do Flashtech products have a warranty?

Flashtech product's are tested, inspected and guaranteed to be first quality merchandise. All Flashtech Halo Kits are backed with a one year warranty. For other products' warranty time period, check each product page.  All warranties begin upon receipt of purchase.
 

02. What does the warranty cover?

Flashtech manufacturer warranty covers each product, during the specified warranty period, from failure under normal operating use.  No warranty is expressed or implied if the product incurs damage due to improper installation techniques, abuse of the product, failure to follow all Flashtech installation instructions or any damage that may occur usage outside of the original manufacturer intent of the product.

03. Can a warranty be transferred?

The warranty is not transferable and is only subject to the vehicle the equipment is originally installed in. If the product is removed, uninstalled, transfers ownership, or is otherwise parted from its original installation then warranty becomes void.

04. Filing a warranty claim

If you need warranty service, please first use our troubleshooter to find a possible solution, for your problem. This will also allow you to determine what part has failed. You may get a troubleshooter code, which you can use to speed up the process!

Once you have used our Troubleshooter guide to determine what your problem is and have determined that an item has failed under normal operating conditions and fall within the designated warranty period for each item, the following options are available.

To file a warranty claim please go to flashtechinfo.com and follow these steps

  1. Click "Contact Us" in the menu at the top.
  2. Click "Warranty" then "Next"
  3. Follow the instructions on this page, and submit your warranty claim.

05. Voiding the warranty

Flashtech manufacturer warranty covers each product, during the specified warranty period, from failure under normal operating use.  No warranty is expressed or implied if the product incurs damage due to improper installation techniques, abuse of the product, failure to follow all Flashtech installation instructions or any damage that may occur usage outside of the original manufacturer intent of the product.  Any such action will immediately void the warranty.

As with any product that deals with electronics, Flashtech recommends that parts are installed by a trained professional. Trained professionals are defined as any certified ASE mechanic or trained automotive Technician certified in car stereo or alarm installation. Flashtech will not be responsible for any damage to a customer's vehicle from improper installation. Any damage done to said vehicle is the responsibility of the technician or person who installs the product and he/she should be notified of this by the customer before installation takes place.
